ADDRESSING ANXIETY

Guided by the belief that what is predictable is preventable, our work will pinpoint anxiety triggers while learning practical and adaptive coping skills. These acquired skills can be immediately integrated into your daily routine, fostering a smoother navigation through life's ups and downs. By recognizing triggers, you can employ a repertoire of techniques ranging from mindful breathing, visualization, to fostering constructive inner dialogues, all gleaned from therapeutic sessions.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Do you have a difficult or troubling relationship with a parent, spouse, ex-spouse, or child? Do you struggle with colleagues or with creating lasting friendships?

In therapy, you may confront parts of yourself that stand in the way of maintaining healthy and rewarding relationships. Oftentimes, these parts reveal themselves as a critic, protector or bully. Learn to empower yourself and lead with courage into a life filled with strong, healthy relationships.

ROMANTIC PARTNERSHIP AND INTIMACY

Are you struggling to find the right kind of love and keep it? Do you find it hard to really connect with your partner because talking things out feels like hitting a brick wall? It's common for miscommunications to leave both partners feeling like they're on different pages, which can lead to a real sense of disconnection. But there's hope! By learning how to express yourself openly and honestly, you can bridge that gap and break the cycle of loneliness from taking over your relationship. Let's work together to strengthen your communication skills and build a more fulfilling connection with your partner.

PARENTING

Do you often feel that you’re struggling to be the parent you want to be?  Are you repeating patterns of response to your child that you swore you’d change? Do you and your co-parent have clashing values and strategies?  In therapy, you can gain an understanding of your partner or co-parent, improve communication, make decisions with less contention, and reduce volatility in your relationship. Let’s get to work on what matters now: meeting your child's needs.

NAVIGATING CAREER OBSTACLES AND CHALLENGES

Navigating career obstacles and challenges can be difficult when you feel stuck in your current position, unable to move forward. It's common to feel frustrated when you're not achieving the career goals you set for yourself, leading to a sense of stagnation and disillusionment. Struggling to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients can further hinder your progress, creating barriers to professional growth. Let’s work together to break through these challenges, develop clearer communication skills, and empower you to make positive changes in your professional life.

TEENS AND PARENTS

Adolescence is a tumultuous journey and every day can feel like a new, sometimes unwanted, adventure. With the added pressures of social media constantly shaping their perceptions and interactions, teens often find themselves feeling misguided. Have you noticed your child shying away from hobbies, ditching friends, or retreating from family time? If schoolwork has taken a nosedive or they're constantly caught up in drama, it's a clear sign they might need a hand.

Therapy acts as a compass, helping teens understand themselves better and deal with all of life’s stressors.  And it's not just the kids who benefit. Therapy is a game-changer for parents, empowering them with the tools and confidence they need to navigate the wild journey of parenting with a bit more ease.
